Having Your House Staged Will Cost Less Than Your 1st Price Reduction

The Who, What, When, Where & Why of Home Staging

Who should have their house staged?

Any one who wants to sell their house for the most amount of money in the least amount of time.

What is home staging?

Staging is the preparation of a house for sale so that it showcases the home's best features and appeals to the broadest range of buyers possible.  It involves neutralizing & updating decor as well as de-personalizing so that a potential buyer can visualize their family living in the house, making an emotional connection with the house.  Remember, buyer shop logically, but they buy emotionally.

When should a house be staged?

Before your 1st open house!  Don't put your house on the market to "see how it goes".  You'll have wasted the priceless first impression, not to mention time and money.  Studies show that staged homes sell 87% faster if staged before listing (RESA 2010 study)

Where can you find a reliable stager?

Look no further!  Elixir Home Staging can coordinate all of the necessary preparations to stage your property for a successful sale.

Why shouldn't I just stage my own house?

A professional stagers will bring an objective eye to evaluate your property, "seeing as a buyer would see".  And because they aren't emotionally connected to the items in the home so they are able to make the best decisions to create an environment to entice those prospective buyers.
